Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to create or use a Spyrochat account. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may only use Spyrochat with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Some features require identity verification (KYC) to upgrade your tier. These checks apply the age limits required by the laws of your country, which may be higher than 13. Where your country sets a higher minimum age for verification, payments, or wallet features, that higher limit applies to you.

By using Spyrochat, you agree to follow our rules and provide accurate information when required.

We may restrict or suspend accounts involved in spam, fraud, or suspicious activity.

Spyrochat includes tier-based verification, rewards, and monetization features. Tier pricing, benefits, and availability may change over time.

• Tier 1 (Basic Verification) is currently free. It includes base monetization access and standard limits.
• Tier 2 (Identity Verification) may require legal identity details, government ID checks, and a fee.
• Tier 3 (Premium) may require additional upgrade requirements and a fee, with higher limits and premium rewards.
• Certain features (including sending money, withdrawal volume, and badge/ribbon status) may be limited by tier and compliance checks.

We may adjust or remove rewards for abusive behavior, artificial engagement, or violations of platform rules.

All payments are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN). For international transactions, currency conversion is handled by your card-issuing bank at their prevailing exchange rates and may include standard foreign transaction fees.

Quoted USD prices are estimates based on standard conversion rates and are provided for reference only. The actual amount charged to your card will be in NGN.

Our monetization system is still being finalized. We are putting the finishing touches on it and carefully setting up the infrastructure, payment flows, and security around it.

We are taking this step-by-step approach on purpose. Rather than turning monetization on for everyone at once, we want to be confident there are no vulnerabilities or issues before more users rely on it. Features, availability, eligibility, and timelines may change as development continues.

You can top up your Spyrochat wallet with a debit or credit card. Local and international cards are supported. The wallet is held in Nigerian Naira (NGN), and funded amounts are credited in NGN.

• Funding currency: You can pay in Naira (NGN) or US Dollars (USD).
• Minimum top-up: ₦1,000 when funding in Naira, or $5 when funding in US Dollars.
• Conversion: Payments made in USD are converted to NGN at the prevailing exchange rate before being credited. Your card issuer may apply its own conversion or foreign transaction fees.
• Processing fee: A small top-up fee applies to each funding and is shown before you confirm the payment.

Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. Top-up amounts, fees, and supported currencies may change over time and will be reflected at the point of payment.

The Spyrochat wallet operates in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Withdrawals are settled to a verified Nigerian bank account.

Withdrawal fee:

A transfer fee applies to each withdrawal. It is made up of the payment gateway cost plus a small platform fee, and is capped so it never becomes excessive on larger amounts:

• Gateway cost: ₦10 for amounts up to ₦5,000, and ₦25 for amounts above ₦5,000.
• Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL): An additional flat ₦50 stamp duty applies to any withdrawal of ₦10,000 or more, as required under Nigerian tax regulations. This levy is set by the government, not by Spyrochat.
• Platform fee: 1.5% of the withdrawal amount, with a minimum of ₦20 and a maximum of ₦1,000.
• Minimum withdrawal: ₦1,000 per request.

The exact fee is always shown to you before you confirm a withdrawal. Fees may change over time and any update will be reflected at the point of withdrawal.

Withdrawals are processed automatically and usually arrive within minutes. In rare cases, bank or gateway delays may extend delivery time. The number of withdrawals allowed per month may vary by tier.

Money features need stronger identity checks to protect everyone on the platform and reduce fraud.

Why new and Tier 1 users cannot withdraw yet:

• Standard (new account): Withdrawal limit starts at 0.
• Tier 1: You can monetize, earn, and receive money after basic verification (email/phone/profile), but withdrawals stay locked.
• Tier 2: After full KYC is approved, withdrawals are unlocked.

This flow allows genuine users to start earning early, while keeping send and withdrawal actions tied to verified identities for anti-money-laundering protection.

Sponsored/promotional content must comply with community rules and applicable law.

We may remove content that is misleading, offensive, or prohibited.

A squad may add a single website to its profile. To protect members from scams, phishing, and misleading links, website links follow strict rules.

• Domain only: A website link must be a plain domain or subdomain (for example, example.com or help.example.com). We do not accept full URLs, page paths, query strings, or redirect links. This stops anyone from pointing a squad link at a specific page on another service to impersonate or mislead people.
• Always secure: Every website link opens over a secure HTTPS connection, which Spyrochat applies automatically. This keeps the connection between the member and the destination encrypted.
• Must be a real, live domain: When a website is added or changed, we check that the domain actually exists and resolves on the public internet. Domains that do not resolve are rejected, so a squad cannot attach a fake or mistyped address.
• Verification badge: A verified badge next to a squad website means the squad has proven control of that domain to us (for example, by adding a DNS record we provide). A badge is never automatic: it is granted only after a successful ownership check, and it is removed immediately if the website is changed. An unverified website shows a caution before it opens.

We may remove, reset, or refuse any website link that is deceptive, unsafe, impersonates another party, or violates these Terms or applicable law. Opening an external link is at your own discretion; a destination website is operated by the squad, not by Spyrochat.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Spyrochat means you accept the updated Terms.
